NEXTO SELECT
Nexto Select is an automated solution from the NEXTO line that combines a closed storage area with automated order picking and a self-service pick-up point in a single, compact unit.
Operation comes down to two points on the front of the unit. The customer places an order on the touchscreen terminal – or beforehand in an online store or app – and then collects the picked parcel from the pick-up window after scanning a code. The entire process runs without staff.
At the heart of the solution is the OPEX® Xtract automated picking system, which retrieves products from storage and prepares the order for release. Goods stay in the closed area until collection, which eliminates losses and the risk of damage.
Its compact design makes it possible to store a wide product range in a small footprint. Nexto Select works both as a stand-alone point of sale and as an addition to an existing store – it takes over Click & Collect pick-ups and keeps selling outside opening hours.
The solution can be integrated with the operator’s sales and warehouse systems, giving real-time control over stock levels, rotation and product availability.
