OBI – a functional, attractive HOME & DECO zone
Design and manufacture of display solutions for OBI Polska: promotional tables, rug and cushion stands, lightweight displays for curtains and drapes, an illuminated tile display and an outdoor MAGO UX UW pallet rack.
The challenges our client set us
OBI was looking for a partner who would:
Make the display of decorative items more attractive – so that the HOME & DECO zone catches the eye and inspires purchases
Make work easier for staff – allowing goods to be organised and restocked quickly and efficiently
Combine aesthetics with functionality – delivering solutions consistent with the rest of the store fittings
Increase storage space – with safe storage of goods outside the building
Project scope
The display solutions for the HOME & DECO zone were created through close and highly effective cooperation with OBI Polska – from concept, through design and manufacturing, to delivery.
Display tables on castors
Mobile tables made of closed profiles and clad in wood-effect laminated board form promotional islands in the store aisles.
Rug and cushion stands
Free-standing displays with a wire-grid bottom shelf that effectively attract customers' attention.
Curtain and drape displays
Lightweight fittings made of thin, small-section steel profiles that enhance the look of the goods on display.
Illuminated tile display
A floor and wall tile display with dedicated LED lighting by DANLER, a MAGO Group company – with light colour matched to the range.
Rack and gondola accessories
Holders for hand mowers, taps, faucets and many other accessories tailored to the store's range.
MAGO UX UW outdoor rack
A hot-dip galvanised pallet rack for weather-resistant goods, designed to take wind and snow loads into account.
Consultancy and advice
We began the project by analysing the needs of the HOME & DECO zone: the types of products on display, how staff work and expectations for the look of the sales floor.
Design
We prepared solutions tailored to individual product groups – from mobile promotional tables and rug and cushion stands to lightweight textile displays and an illuminated tile display.
Manufacturing
We manufactured all elements at MAGO’s plants, combining steel structures with wood-effect laminated board finishes and dedicated LED lighting.
Outdoor rack – design and safety
For the MAGO UX UW pallet rack we prepared a design with a verification calculation according to national annexes, taking additional wind and snow loads into account.
