Payment kiosk – self-service payment point

A device that accepts cash and electronic payments without staff involvement. Customers pay on their own, and your employees gain time for the work you actually pay them for.

PAYMENT KIOSK

Taking payments is rarely an employee’s main job, yet it can take up a large part of their day. The queue at the dealership reception desk, giving change, cashing up, checking documents – these are tasks that pull staff away from serving customers and selling.

The payment kiosk takes over this process entirely. It is an integrated, self-service payment terminal that serves customers without staff assistance. It accepts both electronic payments and cash – including giving change – so it can serve every customer, whatever their preferred payment method.

MAGO designs, manufactures, programs and installs payment kiosks at locations chosen by the client. Further processing of electronic and cash payments is handled by BillBird, part of the Polskie ePłatności group – the second-largest intermediary in Poland, after Poczta Polska, in collecting payments for mass billers.

The solution has already proven itself in public offices, public administration units and courts, as well as in car dealerships. Many clients, after an installation at one location, go on to equip further sites with payment kiosks.

How the payment kiosk works

1. Payment identification – the customer selects or indicates the amount due on the device screen.

2. Choice of payment method – cash or electronic payment, depending on the customer’s preference.

3. Transaction – the device accepts the payment and gives change if needed.

4. Confirmation – the customer receives a payment confirmation and the transaction goes for settlement.

Applications

Car dealerships – service and sales payments settled without involving the reception desk. This is the sector with the most MAGO payment kiosk installations.

Public offices and administration units – stamp duties and administrative fees collected on a self-service basis, with no queues at the counter.

Courts – court fees paid on site, at any time during the building’s opening hours.

Healthcare facilities – payments for visits and tests without burdening the registration desk.

Universities and educational institutions – admission, dormitory and administrative fees.

Public buildings – anywhere payments are currently taken manually by staff.

End-to-end implementation

The payment kiosk is created entirely by MAGO – from design and manufacturing, through software, to installation at the location chosen by the client. We do not act as a reseller of someone else’s device; we are responsible for the solution from start to finish.

Further processing of electronic and cash payments is handled by BillBird, part of the Polskie ePłatności group – a company specialising in collecting payments for mass billers, with full procedural support and secure services.

This division of roles gives the client a single point of contact for the hardware and a proven operator for settlements.
